Streaming Examples
Only those image parts the user wants to see are transmitted by streaming.
Without sending complete huge images or big stacks completly before the first image can be seen, streaming provides
the user with an overview immediately.
While zomming or panning for the next section the image details are loaded in the background. Image portions that are
not needed will not be transmitted.
This works with a few huge images (pathology) as well as with a huge number of small images (radiology).
3D-stack (CT) or timly related sequences (angiography), by streaming you will see exactly what you need.
This improves work and reduces ressources, network or local station. JPView by imassense realizes this image distribution
through official, DICOM compatible standards (JPEG2000/JPIP) and without the use of active components at the browsers site.
This saves ressources, installation and support expenses without the dependency on a proprietary image format. All documents
can be stored as JPEG2000 files.
No active parts are needed to see the examples, just activated Javascript.
